BIZ-UP: SELF-EMPLOYMENT SKILLS FOR YOUNG PEOPLE

Self-employment promotion has become an integral part of national strategies that aim at creating employment for young people. However, a lack of information combined with low awareness about self-employment opportunities leads many young people to consider wage employment the only pathway to the labor market. At the same time, other young people step into self-employment without having the basic information it takes to make this important career decision. This course aims to raise awareness of the set of skills that are important for self-employment creation, but also for responding to changing labor market demand and for encouraging young people to find new ideas and ways of doing things.
